SACRED KNOTS AT THE END!
November 2014
Beyond excited to announce my trunk show at The End in ucca Valley near Joshua Tree, California. The End is a very specially curated space owned by my favorite artist, Kime Buzzelli. Having deeply influenced my work, I think my jewelry and wallhangings will be at home.
While the show will only last an evening, many of the pieces will remain at The End, available for purchase in store.
WALLHANGINGS
October 2014
I've begun transforming my knotting techniques from jewelry to wallhangings. My pieces vary in size from 2 feet to 6 feet long !
Made from cotton and mixed fibers, each piece is hand-wrapped in yarn, knotted, sewn, and tasseled. They are ready to hang from a nail , hook, or thumbtack.

Sacred Knots
June 2014
After experimenting this past year with knotting techniques, Ive started branching into fiber art. Sacred Knots is a collection of fiber jewelry based upon the ancient art form of knotting. Folk artists, mariners, and skilled craftspeople symbolically expressed deep desires, created solutions for everyday problems, and decorated objects using simple materials and hours of skillful experimentation entwining cords. From the strong goddess energy expressed by the Celtic knots to the manifestation power inherent in the Chinese knots, each design is imbued with timeless symbolism.
BirtHDAY Astrology.
May 2014
I recently was asked to do an astrology inspired series for the birthday themed May issue of Panda Head Newsletter, curated by Morgan Hungerford West. The series consists of photo painting collages for each sign of the zodiac. I styled and shot photos of my muse Leah and collaged them with my watercolor paintings. The full series and May issue of Panda Head can be viewed here:

THE EMPRESS
March 2014
Janina Angel Bath of the Tarot Woman Boutique in Berkeley, California is now opening a brand new shop in the neighborhood, and asked me to create the logo. Her new shop, The Empress, will feature vintage clothing, jewelry, and host events. The inspiration for the shop and logo design is based off of the Empress Tarot card symbolism: Venus female symbol heart and stars represent the Empress architype. Shop grand opening coming soon!
VINTAGE FABRIC POCKET GREETING CARDS WITH HANDDRAWN ILLUSTRATION
February 2014
Welcome, Spring... The purrfect season to send a love note. I've been busy sewing pockets made from last remenants of floral vintage fabrics to greeting cards. Tucked inside each pocket is a small illustrated print with a "Thinking of you" message. The cards are left blank inside for your message. Buy sets of four in the same fabric, or get a variety pack.

Portal necklaces DEBUT
December 2013
Excited to share new paintings in the form of a pendant. Each silver tone geometric brass frame (2 x 2 inches or larger, depending on the shape) holds a tiny original painting on one side, and an illustration printed on gold foil on the other - two pieces of art in one! Wear it one way today and simply flip to wear with a different outfit the next. Contact for custom color and design requests.
Revive Magazine
September 2013
My recent dream work with help from Morgan H. West, Nadine Matar, and model Celeste Rodero has landed on the cover of the newly launched Revive Magazine-- a vintage focused online and print publication by the Pavo Collective. The magazine featured my "We are all Stardust" spread that intertwines my original handpainted art props with vintage styling around a celestial theme.

Los Gitanos Shop Mural
August 2013
On your next stroll through the U St Corridor of Washington, DC, take a detour through the beautiful Los Gitanos Vintage-- a gem tucked inside Blues Hard Goods on 14 St., specializing in women's clothing and accessories from the 1800s through the 1960s. I was so pleased when owner Tara Papanicolas asked me to paint the Los Gitanos girl logo I designed earlier that year on the wall in mural form.
